Full Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Paro/Thimphu: Arrival at Paro international airport and take an hour drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Visit to folk heritage museum, painting school, Changangkha Lhakhang, Motithang zoo and Kuensel Phodrang after checking in the hotel. At 5pm, visit Thimphu Tashichho Dzong and bask in the main town after that.

Day 2 Thimphu/Punakha: Early breakfast in the hotel and depart for Punakha en route Dochula pass. After arriving at Lobesa, venture a short hike to Chhimi Lhakhang located on rising hills at the back side of the village. Following the lunch break, visit the main temple inside Punakha Dzong and a hike to Khamsum temple in Kabesa village.

Day 3 Punakha/Wangdue/ Paro: Depart for Paro en route Wangdue, located in south of Punakha. While in Wangduephodrang, visit the Dzong first and Bajo temple on your hike to matalungchu village. Drive back to Paro after the lunch in Wangdue.

Day 4 Tiger Nest Hike: Hike to tiger nest is one of the best hikes in Paro valley. It is three hour uphill hike through the mixed pine forest. Enjoy the arrival refreshment at tiger nest cafeteria followed by lunch on your return visit from the tiger nest. On completion of hike, visit Paro Dzong and Museum.

Day 5 Exit: At Paro airport you will seen off by your tour guide
